At CELESTIAL STEEL, we select jewelry that combines the timeless charm of vintage with contemporary aesthetics. From designs inspired by bygone eras to modern creations, each piece is chosen for its distinctive character, quality, and aesthetic appeal.
The exact composition, finish, and features of each piece of jewelry are listed on the corresponding product page.
Stainless Steel
Many of our pieces are made from stainless steel, a material known for its resistance to corrosion and ease of care.
With proper use and care, it can maintain its appearance for a long time. Its condition is affected by how often it is worn, how it is stored, its finish, and exposure to chemicals.
To help preserve it, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact with chlorine, cleaning products, and other harsh chemicals.
925 Sterling Silver
Selected pieces in our collection are made from 925 sterling silver. It consists of 92.5% pure silver, with the remaining percentage made up of other metals that contribute to its strength.
Over time, silver may naturally tarnish or darken slightly. This is a normal characteristic of the material and is not necessarily a defect.
For silver jewelry that is not gold-plated, its original shine can usually be restored with a suitable silver polishing cloth, provided this is safe for the stones and other elements of the piece.
To help preserve it:
-
Store silver jewelry separately in a dry, enclosed space.
-
Avoid contact with perfumes, cosmetics, chlorine, and cleaning products.
-
Clean gently using products suitable for the specific finish.
-
Avoid abrasive materials and harsh cleaning products.
Gold-Plated Jewelry
Some of our designs have a gold finish or gold plating over a stainless steel or 925 sterling silver base, as specified in each product description.
Gold plating is a surface coating of gold that may naturally wear over time.
Its lifespan is affected by how often it is worn, friction, perspiration, skin pH, and contact with water, perfumes, cosmetics, or chemicals.
To help preserve the shine of the gold plating for longer:
-
Remove jewelry before showering, washing your hands, swimming, or exercising.
-
Avoid direct contact with perfumes, creams, sanitizers, and cleaning products.
-
Limit excessive friction and contact with hard surfaces.
-
Remove jewelry before sleeping and before doing anything that may put it under stress.
-
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth, without abrasive or chemical products.
-
Store each piece separately in a dry place, protected from moisture.
Gold-plated rings in particular may wear more quickly because hands frequently come into contact with objects and surfaces.
The gradual wear of gold plating is characteristic of this type of finish. Gold plating is not permanent, and its lifespan cannot be precisely determined, as it depends on the conditions of use and care.
Stones and Decorative Elements
Depending on the design, our jewelry may feature natural stones, cubic zirconia, crystals, synthetic pearls, freshwater pearls, or other decorative elements.
The composition and type of stones are specified in each product description.
To preserve them, avoid impacts, excessive friction, pressure, and contact with chemical products, as these may affect how they are set or their appearance.
Pearls and certain natural stones require particular care, as they may be more sensitive to moisture, perfumes, and cleaning products.
Natural Variations
Minor variations in color, texture, dimensions, or the placement of decorative elements may occur between individual pieces and do not necessarily constitute a defect.
In particular, variations in color, shape, and surface are part of the distinctive characteristics of natural stones and pearls.
Colors may also appear slightly different depending on the lighting and settings of your screen.
These natural variations do not involve deviations from the product’s essential characteristics or declared materials.
Jewelry Care
To keep your jewelry in good condition:
-
Apply perfumes, creams, and cosmetics before putting on your jewelry.
-
Avoid contact with chemical cleaning products.
-
Remove jewelry before strenuous exercise or activities that may cause impacts or friction.
-
Clean gently with a suitable soft cloth, according to its material and finish.
-
Store each piece separately in a clean, dry place.
